San Francisco

Day 1: I arrived in San Fran and got bagels and coffee with Walt and Lindsey at Holy Bagel, then we cooked (mainly Walt and Lindsey), went for a hike up tank hill, and ate dinner!  It was so good!  Then we watched eat pray love before bed.
Day 2: Walt and I explored downtown frisco and took the underground to union square (shopping district) and then we walked to china town for lunch.  Then we went to the waterfront at fisherman's wharf and had lunch #2: bread bowls with soup.  Then we went to ghirardelli and had sundaes and sampled chocolate.  Finally, we were tired and took the trolley back to noe to nap before walt's bday dinner when Lindsey met us at a vegetarian indian restaurant.  We ended the night going to the video store and watching melinda and melinda (woody allen film).
Day 3: it rained so we went to golden gate park to visit the gardens and the de young art museum: it was such a lovely morning!  Then we warmed up at lovejoy's tea room and ate crumpets with devon cream and jam, pear and stilton sandwiches and artichoke hummus sandwhiches, and petite fours.  yum!  Then we went to back to the apartment and watched chungking express and ordered pizzas.
Day 4: I explore san fran and walked all over!  First I went to the mission district and saw the murals and the building of women, then i walked up hayes to see the painted lady buildings, and then walked to haight ashbury to see their version of the painted ladies.  I ended the day taking a bus back to mission district to check out one final alley way of murals.  Then I went back to noe where Lindsey lives and ate a chocolate tart at a bakery. yum! It was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to go back! xo
