yakima

Here are some photos taken from the drive back from yakima... the mountain pass was so pretty and all the trees were covered with snow.  The retreat went pretty well... i got to know the other girls who work for elderhealth better and i saw eric lafountain!  The food was also good and i took some interesting workshops- i liked effective communication, identifying non-apparent disabilities, and integrating arts into your program the best.  Jesse: remind me to talk to you about grant writing! xo

  1. Ancient forests rising from the surrounding landscape.
If you dig down, you will find the bones of prehistoric people.
Sifting the dirt with your hands, you would find a procession of animals of all sorts.
The dead cling to your hands and boots.
    Precious ones and their secrets.
    The bone layer.
