dr. atomic

Tonight I saw a rush hour concert of dr. atomic at benaroya hall.  The concert was adapted from an opera of the same title by john adams and is based on the manhattan project.  The music was very dramatic and terrifying and sounded like the score of a really great B movie.  It was brilliant and so fun to listen to.  Benaroya hall is lovely and contemporary and looks kinda sci-fi, like the concert hall in the fifth element.  love.
