Arriving in Chicago on the 20th, Jesse and Ben took me to Hot Chocolate. Pastry Creator, Mindy Segal is a James Beard award winning Chef. We shared the blueberry pie with buttermilk ice cream, the chocolate cake with burnt honey cream and honeycomb, and the lemon panna cotta with rosè poached peaches.




On Saturday I toured Jeston's pottery studio and did some thrifting in the Ukranian Village.
