Day of Caring

Last Friday at work we hosted Day of Caring, which is a national volunteer day for corporations, and we had a group of Microsoft volunteers help out for the day.  Our branch decided to have a "country fair" day and I was in charge of the volunteers and also largely planned the event.  We had face painting, making potpourri (apple cinnamon) sachets, pumpkin ring toss, balloon darts, and a trivia prize wheel.  I also had my clients work on decorations in the weeks prior to the event: we made a scarecrow, paper mache apples, and glittery leaves!
