lullaby moon

Tonight I went to lullaby moon- an annual celebration of the new moon at gasworks park in Fremont.  The park is great because it is on a hill overlooking the entire city.  The event is free and even though I missed most of the performance, I arrived in time to see some as they left the park and sailed off on a boat that looked like a mississippi steamboat with lights all over it.  There was also a white bed floating off in the water and a giant lit up swan going by.  Another boat was sending little blue lights tied to balloons into the sky, which was really pretty.  There was a band and everyone had to wear white.  Check out my photos here.
