film noir

On Saturday, I saw the 1944 film noir, Laura, starring Gene Tierney as a dead woman and Vincent Price as a nefarious bachelor at the Northwest Film Forum.  This classic film noir looked bold on 35mm film and the narrative was surprisingly dark and spellbinding.
