henry art gallery

Ryan and I went to the spring open house at the henry art gallery when I was still sick.  It was at night and all the galleries were open for a party at the museum.  We viewed new exhibitions while food and drinks were served.  A dj played in the sculpture garden against outdoor light projections.  I particularly enjoyed the ceramics exhibit.  The curator showed pieces by Seattle artists from the 60s and 70s during which a radicalization of what constituted ceramic art occurred.
