in the heat of the night

They call me Mr. Tibbs!
Last night I watched 'in the heat of the night'... this is a great film and sidney poitier is the epitome of cool.  It was made in 1967 and explores racism in mississippi in a post civil rights context.

    This is one of my favorite movies. He has always been one of my Brandos.
    I was in love with him as a teen.
